If the horse finishes 4th Congratulations you have just lost your first race. Exotic Bets Well the easy part is over this will be a little more complicated. We will try and explain the different types of Exotic Bets so you have a better understanding of the meaning of each one. Exacta- The meaning of the wager exacta is you must select the 1st and 2nd place horse in the exact order. Here is an example of this wager ($2.00 straight exacta #1, #2) this means the #1 horse must win the race and the # 2 horse must finish 2nd. If you have selected this correctly you win.
